So, I'm assuming Babyoil is a short term "show off" kinda solution.

Nothing too long-term?

I have brand new OEM headlights from factory, so no need

That is exactly it!!! Could not have put it better myself. To me the plastix takes off most of the yellowing but the babyoil makes the lens more moist really makes them pop. I think it does help to keep them lookin nice for a bit longer. It doesn't hurt to try!!!

Correct......it is a kind of short term "show" type of solution. At the same time though it does protect your lens a bit from yellowing so its a little of everything. Luck you that you have new ones!!!!

Ghetto. I mean it works, but...... yikes. I expect to see this over at the civic forums "smother baby oil on your cloudy headlights and it'll fix them for a WEEK OR TWO and you can do it again every week or two".

I ain't getting down on you man, a fix is a fix and good for you, but I think it's the combination of baby oil, white faced ricer indiglo overlays, and halo headlights on the same first page that REALLY fkkin with me right now......

....but hell man, kudos for trying to find a fix.

I hear you OLT but in all honesty I don't think civics would have even thought about this. Haha....but your definately entitled to your opinion and I posted this up just as another idea for getting the headlights to look clean.

I'm pretty OCD when it comes to my car being as clean as possible so I personally don't mind cleaning my headlights every other week. I clean my car at least once every two weeks and sometimes every week so maybe its just me.

I actually vacuum my IS every other day and wash it every 3 days inside and out. Clearly you pay just as much attention to your SC. Very few are willing to go to this extent (we're speshial) and anything that is not a correct fix is an incorrect fix. Lest, that's how I live.

Awesome!!! Wish there was someone like you here to share in my cleaning ways as far as the car goes. I totally agree that if I'm going to do something to the ride....it's either the right way or I might as well not even do it at all.
