I'm going to try that wax that has Dust-X in it and repels dust.

Doesn't all wax, in a way, repel dust? I mean, it is so smooth that dust isn't as likely to stick.

fill us in OLT.

The dust doesn't want to go on a slip and slide, it doesn't care if the surface is slick . Waxing attracts dust by creating an electron harvesting field on the surface of the paint. Wax attracts dust. There are some companies beginning to use dustat-x in their formula which is a neutrally charged chemical so it doesn't attract dust. I'm not up to date on who offers it and who doesn't.

Wouldn't the baby oil just attract dust and other junk? I used wet sand to get the deep down crap off, polished with Plastix, then used 5 coats of paint sealant. The sealant is like concrete hardening on there, plus the more coats, the shinier it gets and it repels dust.

Yea I'm not sure if the baby oil attracts more dust or not??? To me they seem pretty dust free most of the time but my car does sleep outiside next to dirt so thats where most of the dust that gets on my car comes from. When my car sleeps in my parents place its a different story.

One day I might just really wet sand it and use plastix....then clear coat it for a more long term solution.
