97 cluster fit in 94?

yea so ill be getting a new engine and tranny for my 94 sc400. The engine and tranny are off a 97. does the cluster fit in my 94? Also, does 97 come with vvti?

i had to look it up on wikipedia to make sure about this...VVT-i was added in 98+. for some reason i thought it was 97+ but apparently not. Not sure about the cluster question...i would assume (just a guess) you could use a different, updated cluster but obviously the mileage would be inaccurate with your car unless it was somehow changed to match your car's mileage but i think it's either impossible to do or illegal or both. Or you could just keep up with the real mileage on your own and just have the wrong mileage in the cluster. i like the updated cluster a lot better. i'd make sure all the needles work on it, etc. or do any mods to it since it's out already (updated, better needle/background colors).
