turned down an sc the other day
so i saw on the ad a 1996 sc 300 for 2300 so i gave the guy a call to check it out. when i saw it it had 216k miles and it was black on tan wit the chrome old school bbs wheels! the wheels was nice! i think that was the only thing i liked about the car lol...
Exterior:
wasn't original paint and it was keyed all over
car got hit on the rear
Interior:
inside the trunk was a mess with no carpet
interior is the typical ripped leather
radio doesn't work
telescoping steering doesn't work
outside driver side door handles doesn't work
Engine:
oil all over the side of the block
car was misfiring
brake line leaking
i thought man this car is in bad condition, i can use it for parts tho so i told him i have 1.8k cash in hand and and he replied rudely "no! i will only take 2.2k" i was like f that lol i bought mine for 2.2k but it was good condition, just needed a little tlc in my interior

you offered 1800 for a parts car?
thats almost as bad as buying that car for 2200.
last summer i helped a friend buy at SC. it was a 93 sc300 5spd that ran perfect. all it needed was a bit of body work and a wheel bearing. we picked up the car for 1000 bucks. and it didnt have half the problems you listed...

They have an SC3 that needs minor engine work, and its interior redone, in royal jade over here. I offered the guy 1600 and he excepted, so if anyone is interested let me know, i could give you his number.

That guy you were talking to was smoking the pole for that price he was firm at. Good thing you didn't waste your money on that crap pile. Some people think that there cars are worth something even though they did not take car of it at all. FAIL
