yes but not permanently
nismo and stillen are supposed to have superchargers available for it (and maybe turbo kits)
the nismo one should be available from the factory with a warranty like TRD has their V6 supercharger

the turbo Z
The old TurboZ was 300hp and could do 0-60 in 5.5 seconds.
The turbo supra 350hp could do a 5.2-5 second 0-60.
IN fact, a SLIGHTLY modified GS400 w/intake/ecu and torque converter upgrade would be able to hang w/a stock 300z (1990-95) up to 60mph. Not sure about after 60 though..Turbos usually win on the highway.
IT wouldn't take that much for the 350Z to outdue the 300zx turbo w/a normally aspirated engine. As someone else put it, the Z performance numbers were overrated and overhyped. Well..I guess it was fast for 1990 standards..but not now...w/ Nissan Altimas doing 5.7....

Serious issues: SC300/400 VS SC430
I'm sorry.. I had to post this reply after hearing about the incident of the SC430 who rolled down his window and said "you're faster but mine looks better. There is no way in the world the SC430 looks better than the old SC's. Tell you the truth, Lexus did a terrible job recreating the SC. Okay, the only sweet thing is it has the convertible top. Big deal. This 430 is fat and short, and the only thing that makes it stand out over the older sc's is the height. It's tall. Look at the back.. what kinda **** design is that? Look at the front.. Okay the front looks dam good, but it's not that sporty looking. The front looks more matching for maybe GS's, or LS's. It seems like the SC430 was a rush production. The only reason it's so pricy is because Lexus wants to compete against Mercedes and Bmw of at least having an expensive sport vehicle. Tell you the truth, if you give me 60K+ grands for my SC, I would NOT buy the SC430. I'd rather buy the Audi TT or the 350Z.. Looks similiar and saves you 20K+ grands. Sadly, the SC430 also looks like the HYUNDAI Tiburon. hahh...Sometimes just because it's brand new and cost more doesn't necessary mean it's better looking. You can have the newest vehicle and most expensive vehicle, as long as my old vehicle is pretty to me and everybody else, it's better than your brand new car. To me, I think SC's300/400 are one of the prettiest cars out there. You can't find another sport car in that price range shaped like that. You look at Bmw M3 old style or new style, it still has that sedan sport look instead of a full sport shaped SC. Your SC400 is better looking than that ugly SC430. I bet you the sales report of the SC430 cannot to that of the SC300/400. There must be a reason why SC300/400 stayed from 91-through 2000. And I bet you also that Lexus will change the SC style very soon.. Sorry to the buyers of the Lexus 430..

Alright guys, everyone has a personal preference, no need to flame . Personally I think the Audi TT is nausiating, the 350Z doesn't look anything special, and would GLADLY take an SC430. The only thing ugly about it is the stock wheels, but change those up and you really have something beautiful. I think our MKIII models look better, but the 430 is still very sleak and sexy looking. You should see them in person.

Personally when I saw it in magazines I didn't think much of it, but then when I saw it with the top up on our main street I didn't even know what car it was. It took me a few times going by within a month to realize it was a lexus, and then I was wondering which model it was. I thought it was a concept vehicle. I think it looks great with the top up! But for $60k, I think I would have to pass....
