But your missing the main point, more props to you because you didn't post a poll on whether or not you were going to do those mods, you liked it and went for it. He is having us all take a poll on OUR opinions, which means he isn't sure on his decision and is looking for approval... Of course were not going to all agree with this... but if he wants it he should do it and not have us be the deciding factor, but this is definitely a funny thread!

Funny thread.
Seriously at the end of the day he (we) drive Toyota's with "L" emblems on them. If he wants to brand engineer his Lexus into Transformer just like Toyota's were brand engineered into Lexus' I say let him.

To prove that you're a fanboy. Why else? I deal with this all the time over on the Nissan boards...
Just because you swap a JDM motor into your USDM car doesn't make it a Soarer/Silvia/whatever. When the car was first released, it was sold as an SC300 here in the U.S. And that's all it will ever be; a modified SC300. And certainly not a Transformer...
Putting JDM badges on stuff is sooo fanboyish and pointless IMO. And to the 'drifter' that responded... Oi.... I left the Nissan boards to get away from guys like you...
Anyways, the SC300 is a luxury sports coupe. Improving its performance is a great idea. Treating it like some econo-box Civic rival is a fail of an idea.
Of course though... This is only my opinion. Do whatever you want with your car.
Edit: JDMmuscle, I see that you are an upstanding member on these boards and you have alot of cool flavor & styling. So, I certainly don't mean any disrespect. I just don't agree with certain styling trends and I stick on my guns on things like this.

Don't get some ricey "Yellow" or something.
Do a Chrome Auto/Decept. or whatever.. Perhaps Black, Y'know..?
If it fits the theme of the car, it'll look good.
Its not the "Transformers" that matters.. Its the aesthetic.
You can make a car look cool with flowers on it, if its done right.
