I've seen a couple cars that had this problem. I don't know how they fixed it but I felt bad for them when everybody starts cussing at them. It was kind of funny too.

My Soarer has the exact same problem....but its only intermittent.
It usually likes to honk when its cold or like mentioned before when I turn really hard.
Sometimes if I adjust the distance (telescopic wheel) it goes away? I don't know why but it does.

thanks for the hope! i wanna see if it fixes itself as the temperatures warm up. it sat out in -20 to -40 C all winter. i thought it was gonna stay warm when i took it out but it got worse out. just too eager. hopefully it gets warmer soon so i can go to my tint appt on tuesday.
