after getting that $4,600 paint quote, just curious what some of you guys think i should expect to be paying? i was guessing in the $2,000 area is that about right?

Different states have different meanings of what is considered salvage. A car gets salvaged when the cost to repair it is greater than X% of its determined value, where X is dependent on the state, or where the car is insured.
