Default CF Hood and doors *pics*

Carbon Fiber hood and doors. These pictures on in this month's Option2 magazine. I remember someone mentioning seeing it on an Option video? Well, here it is. Vertex Carmake T&E body kit. And those look like Volk CE28N's...?

Dundatttta. Let's find someone to import the doors and hood, maybe an existing Vertex dealer?

That car looks sweeeeet. Any availability in the US on the hood and doors? Price? They sure would help balance out the car's weight distribution problem. I've seen a lot of carbon fiber hoods on Civics and such, but are they paintable to factory quality for classier cars like a Lexus? (black doors and hood would look pretty cheesy on a champagne-colored car.) Nice spoiler too, though a little too aggressive for my tastes. Anyone know of aftermarket spoilers for our car that are slightly raise, bolder than the 97+, but mellower than a Supra wing?

I think a black cf hood would look nice on a champagne car...but you'd have to have other visual mods to go with it...like a nice body kit and rims...

I e-mailed marcus from importtoys on this one, I hope he's looking into it. If not, I'm going to harass him till he does
One company listed on that post I made didn't actually make one available stateside. So, we're still carbon-less in the USA. MARCUS DAMNIT GET US SOME CARBON FIBER PARTS!!!

Uh oh... my name in lights.
OK,Here's the deal: There are CF and FB hoods available in Japan. Can I get them? YES, but the price is so unreasonable its crazy! (Actually it's: CRAZY + $hipping) So I just said forget it.
There are a few people here on the board that know of the projects at Preferred Image for the SC's.
And we will have a few items available really soon....I give you all my word on this.
The biggest issue we have now is trying to keep the retail cost down on items, I hope that everyone will give us a bit of time to get that issue out of the way.I'll try to figure something Special for CL members via. 'mkilty' but we havent gotten that far yet...close,but not yet.

Right now we are wrapping up a HUGE BMW project that even has me 'Hands on' again. I hired another person here to free up more time for myself and crew to get these items and the other lines that we support out to the public.

Em is still working on her SC and will actually have it finished by the April 12th H.I.N. In Seattle,I hope.
But From what I understand they are tinkering with the ECU again which is taking up ALL of the R&D time allowed for the SC's.
I know she will get it done in time ( incase she happens to read this post )

alsooooooooo.....
For those that have found it and figured out that it was us (Importtoys.com). The new site is 'Dealer only' because we do not have the manpower to answer general questions from it right now. I'm sorry if the responses have been so long when writing into the Preferred Image site.
But,You can ALLWAYZ contact me @ the Importtoys.com website,it has the capacity to help out a lot faster than the Preferred Image website.

You could always have the doors painted to match

I'd pay a good bit of money to have carbon fiber doors

that would drop the car's weight by a good 150-200lbs
The doors on an SC are extremely heavy
