I have tried internet, my local Lexus dealer, local auto parts stores...EVERYWHERE...I need a NEW AC compressor for my 92 SC400. All I can get is a reman (by Lexus). I'm told that new is the way to go, but can't find one...Anybody know where one is? Or have used the Lexus reman? Has it lasted? ...... Any help much appreciated.

Man, I'd get the re-man version anyway. A new one has likely been sitting around for years collecting dust somewhere, and any rubber on it has hardened. A re-man would last longer in that case. I hear a lot of people say they'll only buy "new" parts, but as cars age, the re-furb'd parts are better with newer seals, bearings, etc. Just my .02 for ya.
