Not bad, you have to make sure to put a UV protectant on it or else the resin will start turning yellow. I wish you wrapped it over the edges, it'll look so much better that way. I did this a few years ago on my Celica.

Thats hilarious the poopy poop doo* lol
As far as CF goes, it would make more sense to wrap the metal gas cap door, that way you dont spend an insane amount of money on such a small piece. This could look good if you had a real (not covered) Hood and trunk.
Its an afforadable alternative.
As far as the interior goes, I'd love to have the trim in my wrapped in CF, that would be sexy !!!

i never really expected everyone to like this. but honestly for those people that dont like it......well tell it to someone who cares.
@romeo291
what kind of uv protectant would you recommend? i know some resins come with uv protectant built in. but the one i got im not too sure.
@booja
i buy mine from a store locally. you can get them from ebay but theres a lot of fake cf floating online. the easiest way to test it out if its legit cf is if you try and burn it with a lighter or any open flame. real cf will just turn red but wont burn and will cool down just as quickly. if its just a regular black fabric weave then it'll burn pretty fast.
im planning to wrap the wood trim in cf as well. fortunately i found someone that can do molds. so i might eventually have a full cf gas tank cover. depending on how expensive the mold is gonna be.
