Default LexusSC400.com

My question is this... i was gonna buy some stuff from this company but i've heard some stories lately that have lead me to believe they aren't the greatest company to do business with. I'm not gonna mention any names but i still wanna verify this b/c i dont wanna go through all the trouble of finding another company on the web and get screwed by them as well. kinda like the lesser of two evils as it would be. Every time i've ordered parts online for my car, the company i go through always tries to pull a fast one on me. I thought this company might be different but now i'm not so sure so if anyone that has ordered stuff from this company recently could reply to this with your experience w/ them, i and a lot of other sc400 owners would really appreciate it.

The guy who I guess is the main player in that site is a guy named Smooth8 on this forum, and his last post was the 10th of January. He's been MIA since. I hope nothing happened to the guy but it's like he just vanished.

I noticed that the site is being updated so I wonder whats up with that.

As for parts, my SC site isn't up yet but I am planning on starting it very soon. Depending what parts you need I prolly already have them in stock or have access to them (with the exception of OEM lexus parts which I haven't found a good dealer yet). The shop that I am employed by is one of the largest wholesalers on the east coast (on top od being a supra specialist), so just email me and let me know what ya need.

I did business with lexussc400.com in February. Wasn't exactly the smoothest transaction, but I received the emblems I ordered.

i was supposed to buy stuff from them also, but i noticed that they had no number listed on the site for contact information, so i said screw it. and now i hear everyone saying they're shady!!

i have yet to see a good company on the net. i email lots of companies for their support and all i get is "we're extremely busy with overload work" or "not enough guys to handle emails." IMHO, I think this is a bunch of BS. Some companies just want your money without product support or any kind of info. THey're happy to take your money, but when questions arrive, they never email or call back. For example, lexussc400.com,. and even importtoys.com. I dont' think i should have to communicate with them through the clublexus website to get an answer. Simple questions like "what size is the inlet on your MAF adaptor" does not get answered. You know, i own a small business on the side and i do MY best to answer all emails and cust. support questions. I hope this new SCstore.com will be different and keep their items in stock. THEy just want easy money without having to answer any questions from the consumers.

I'm not bashing any company out there, i just think that their cust. service sucks. IMHO. Some have good experiences with the companies mentioned above, but i have not. That's good for you guys, maybe you're one of the lucky ones who actually get their stuff shipped out within 24 hrs or getting your emails answered within a week. So for now, I rely on going to local stores. my body kit took 5 months to get here, and i was very patient. I guess I'm just sick of everyone's BS.

My exhaust took 2 months to come in but the exhaust that i had ordered was backed ordered so they sent me the piece of !@$% exhaust that i wouldn't have put on a lawn mower. so i had to send it back and wait another month to get it. Then i ordered my rims on my birthday at the begining of july and it took almost till the end of November to get them in so trust me i know how u feel. that's why i posted this thread. If anyone can name a good solid company that i could order stuff from you would jus make my day.

Are you a previous customer of ours? I remember you stating that no one from Importtoys.com had responded to an email that you had sent a while back.
I replied to the post that you had made here and even sent you a PM To see what you had asked about....didnt hear from you.
Dont group us with any other company.we dont reply to every post on the board with a sales pitch...Not our style...If it was for the money we would....but its not.
This is something that I LIKE doing.....for the most part.
I dont know how they run things over at Lexussc400.com but I know how things are run here.

I ordered my MAF adapter and my filter from importtoys, and they came within a week. Plus I wrote them an e-mail and replied within 2 days. With LexusSC400.com, I don't even wanna bother going there looking for my SC300 parts. Too much hassle of coming to clublexus forum and asking everyone if the SC400 parts would fit on a SC300.

Marcus at importtoys has always responded promptly to me, I definitely wouldn't group them with sc400.com

Default SC400.com

I have sent several messages to Chris (Smooth8) and received no reply. Next time I go to Redondo I will go to the car wash he runs and look for his white SC4. Hopefully everything is alright.
