I've been running that brand of hids for 2 years in my car and girl car, only problem I've had was the bulbs blowing or sometimes on of the ballast isn't warmed up full and I would have to turn the headlights on and off and then they'll work.

 

The problem is with the ballast. You get what you pay for. The cheaper ones generally aren't very efficient and end up requiring more voltage. That's on top of all the other problems caused by cheap design.
