I never understood the reason for installing a body kit until a car is sufficiently modified to beat most cars on the street.

I also never understood polls asking for people's opinions -- who cares what anyone else thinks?

Anyway my vote is:
1. Turbo your SC300 and install Supra TT suspension and brakes.
2. Put a large FMIC in place.
Once the car is running 12s reliably then...
3. Install a Veilside kit.


There is no point in show without go. All show and no go = rice.

That's exactly my plan.

1. 18 inch wheels so my supra brakes fit on the car.
2. Save up for my 6spd tranny and BTR nitrous setup.
3 worry about the body.

That first one is Garage Fukui SPL, it's nice, semi widebody, big bucks, more than the Veilside, but you'll be the only guy in the states with a full SPL kit. That second one is Brian's car, love the Veilside in RSP colour. I agree that go has to come before show, but some guys aren't into speed, while I don't get that, and never will, they still have a right to put a kit on, just don't be a ricer and pull next to a quick car with your stocker and rev it, I want to get out of the car and take a guy's keys away when he does that.
