One weakness of the SC400 is that replacing the starter is a pain in the butt.
One strength of the SC400 is that they come with the front chin spoiler/lip and rear deck lid spoiler as standard equipment (Assuming it's a '92-'94 year model).

Its a very good engine, but if you want it to really perform you need to get a LSD rearend and a supercharger, to offset the build quality, weight issue.

suspension is for a luxury car, soft and mushy; a set of springs should fix that
and for the brakes, most people would say go Supra TT, but i agree with this guy:
