BS on the ebay headlights yellowing, i've had them for over a year now, first on the ebay housings, now they are on my OEM housings. All i did was wipe them clean and install.
After a year and a half, on OEM housings for my retro:
Just to let you know, i've never buffed them ONCE
When i first got them:
Still crystal clear, no scratches, no yellowing, no hazing period.
Dont say things that you dont know.
As far as your headlights buddy, go lighter on your low grits and even lighter and longer on your high grits all the way to 6k if you can, buff with plasticx and your good. If its still not clear enough for you your gonna have to use a polymer coating.

you can always just keep a look out or post a WTB thread for some damaged oem headlights.. i've seen headlights go for 25 to 50 a piece.. just find one with a broken housing or something and use the lens to replace yours.

HAHA, thanks bro, when it comes to these plastic lenses it just takes patience and persistence, if you can do that, you lenses will be perfect in the end....well that applies for just about anything else for that matter.

do yourself a favor and buy yourself one of those mothers power ball buffers. i got the cone shaped one at advance for 25$. worth its weight in gold makes polishing 10x easier. took me 2 weeks to deline my drivers side headlight and ive been procrastinating on the passanger side and highbeams for about a month now but my drivers side looks so sexy n clear i smile inside everytime i see it.

Hey! I think I heard my name through the ether? Sup Shaitaan!
I think you should just continue on with finer grits -you can't give up now- Those stock lenses are almost complete! Just put them down for a week and come back at them later when your patience comes back. (And hands aren't worn down and sore from sand paper...)
