i had the same problem, along with the giant fmic i put in not fitting. I got some U beam steel plate, cut it in 2 places and welded it back in angles, i have the measurements and can take pics for you later. It works out nicely, i just couldn't stand the idea of running around without any support in the front, i needed SOMETHING.

i remember running across a thread a long time ago that said there was another toyota safety bar that bolted up and let the bumper fit. I don't remember off the top of my head what it was but you may try searching.

This might work

Ebay sti support bar

Really wouldn't be to worried about it, that bar is there for the 5mph bumper in my eyes. If your going to get hit I would thing the rails and mounts that meet up to that would offer the same amount of protection...

Yes its the 07 tacoma front bar that most people use.

I am lazy and rock no crash bar. THe SC is a tank even without that bar your not going to die.

If you want a cheap fix go to a machine shop and have the make you one . Really fast really easy

I would think if you get in a bad enough wreck a bumper bar is not going to save your life. But I don't make cars. lol . good luck

You could always replace it with Tube steel making it sleeker and closer in so it doenst take up as much space

Back to my issue, I am lost between what are you telling me, remove the par, place it with another one, keep it , .... etc.

I have not put the kit on the car yet since I am looking for the best solution to do ??

I am thinking of replacing the car's bar with another car's bar, but I do not know which car is that ???????

Can you help ??

sounds like you want some piece of mind in safety so keep the crash bar. but in the end its your choice what you want to do

my friend them have an sti one on his car and some other members said the tacoma ones fit

or you can try and make one from scratch so its custom to your origin bumper

The bar spreads impact force to the frame members, this helps preserve the cars mechanics and helps keep an engine from parking itself in you lap during an accident.
