I'm just saying that he can work with what he has. He doesn't have too. I say, "Do what makes YOU happy!!" If you want a TRUE GTE, then get one Brother!!! Regardless, I hope your build goes well. Good Luck!!

1jz: Map based, coil packs, FFIM, 280hp stock, higher rev limit, direct drop in.
NA-T: Still has distributor, MAF, crappy looking IM, needs new headgasket, and has stock rev limit and valvetrain components.
I went 1jz because 95 percent of parts are very easily attainable, it looked great, I didnt have to mess with a MAF or disty, and could hold power without me having to get a thicker headgasket or do any major work.
