Default How wide can i go in tire?????

Hello community , i have a set of vossen wheels model vvs094 on my sc 300 and i want to go wider in tire size in the rear. Right now i have 275-30-20 in the back and 225-30-20 in the front. I call shops around here in florida ( broward county) and each one tells me something different , so its getting frustrating already no one seems to know how wide i can go. First off i am not really sure of the offset of the rear wheels , second the wheels sit kind of flush with the rear fenders but i would like to go a tad wider and from my understanding i can go wider and still be flush with my rear fenders. Some shops say i can go as wide as 305-25-20 some say no i cannot , some say the rim supports it since its a 10.5 inch rim, i am confused .Right now there is not much space left between the tire itself and the fender, my fenders are rolled in completely by the way. i figured if i go 25 series tires i could squeeze 295-25-20 but at the same time i don't want the rims to stick out of my fenders and look like a 4x4 . Please help.

I doubt youre rims will stick out, maybe youre tires would depending on what size tires you decide to get. I have 285-35-18 with a slight roll and it doesnt rub. If you have a completely rolled fender i think you can go a bigger.

I'm also having a tough time determining what tire sizes to get....I have 18" by 9.5" rims, +23 front and +15 rears.......I want to go as wide as possible on the back, and something with a slight stretch on the front...any advice would be appriciated....the wheels are sitting in my living room, and I cant wait to get them on my car!
