I have 92 SC400. I just had some bumber work done and i cant tell if there is a problem with my lights. Do the bottom corner lights turn on when the low beams turn on. Ive been with out an SC for so long that I cant remember. If they are soposed to be on does anyone know where the harness from the back of the fog light/cornering light leads to? Its very tight behind that bumper.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP.

Id your car is in park and you put the directional on will the light illuminate or does the car have to be moving. I am just wondering because my bumber was repainted and I want to make sure everything was replaced.

I was just wondering if anyone has switched there SC over to HIDs. I see that this runs about $550. Does it make that much of a difference or should I just go with bulb replacements such as PIAA that are "close" to hid. In another post of mine I asked about the cornering lights........ Are these soposed to be on all the time with the low beams? Thanks,

What would you say the complexity of the change was? Was it just as simple as taking the 12 volt lead from the low beams and wiring it to the hot turn on of the cornering lights?
thanks

No, no, no, that wouldn't work at all. The switching is on the ground wire so doing that would only send current to the frame. Plus you'd be drawing an unhealthy amount of power to do so. You need to wire in a relay switcher to have the low beams turn them on and the battery power them. It's easy if you know basic relay circuits--15-minute job. I believe there was a thread about this not too long ago.
