Default Will an early cluster work with a 95+ car?

I can't find a direct answer.

I'm wondering if I can plug up an early 93' gauge cluster in my 95 sc300.

Anyone tried this?

I'm wanting to just plug my friends in to see if the tach on mine is busted.

I'll send you a pm about yours.

Bump, seriously does anyone know the answer?

I mean if you could plug an early model cluster into a 95-96 you could get different color needles instead of being stuck with red ones.
