you have to program the memory option in "park" if your car is auto. you have to do it in neutral with the e-brake up if you are manual transmission.

do not press your brakes while doing it.

I believe the car has to be off and in the Park position. Then press either one or two, depends on which one wants to be used.. Make your necceassary adjustments on the seats. Press either one or two, and the memory button at the same time. It will beep will recognized.
Let me know if it works.

Does the 1992 have illuminated entry when used by the either key in the door or remote on the key? Anyone know?

illuminated entry, as in light on door comes on when opened, and footwell light turns on also, when door opened, if that is what you mean, mine does.

does this have anything to do with my drivers seat not going back to the drive position after i move it up after retrieving something from the back, the passenger seat works , but the drivers seat does not.

the driver seat does not go back to its original position if you move it up. that only works on the passenger seat.
