Default Suspension Questions! Eibach Too!

Hey guys....I think I am gonna lower my SC400.
Consensus seems to be to use the Eibach Pro Kit, which will lower it an inch front and rear. Do you guys agree?
The cheapest price on these Ive seen is $309 at tirerack.com. Anyone seen cheaper?
If it matters....I dont think it does....I will be putting 19s or 20s on the car.

Also....is a strut the same thing as a shock?? Or does our cars have both? Caution, I am suspension stupid here.
I saw on Tirerack KYB GR-2 shocks for $58 each. I assume these are not the stronger shocks you want on a lowered car are they? Can someone suggest a good shock for the money on a lowered Eibach car?? Thanks!

Tokico struts go nicely w/ EIbach springs

Keith

Shock/strut - doesn't matter what you call it, they will still give you the same part when you buy.

I've been missing that 'Lexus' feeling ever since I dropped my car. But I got used to riding on Eibachs/Tokico setup.

Like it has been said before

don't put suspension on your car unless you want it for the handling... putting it on for that racecar look and complaining about the ride borderlines on being a riceboy

I want suspension because I dont want a huge wheel gap when I put 19s or 20s on.
Quite honestly...and Im probably in the minority...I think riceboy is doing anything with these cars. If you want to race and all that, go buy a Honda or Mitsubishi.
I have a bimmer too and people are always trying to race those cars, and they are NOT made for that. They are LUXURY cars first, as are all Lexus'.....with exception of M series cars. So you wont ever even see any performance mods on my car....where the hell are you gonna ever race anyone?
Unfortunately from my browsing through the SC boards the last few weeks, it seems 85% of the owners are trying to rice.
