I think it should be single turbo for that price.

That's a fair price.

Pros
It's the right color
it's GTE thats unmolested.
It's an auto, not everyone wants a manual.
The interior is minty.
It's low miles.

Cons
The lights look a bit dull
It's not a v160 driveline, not everyone wants an auto. :P
They'res a gay blue sticker on the 1/4 glass
No floor mats
Loud gay blow off valve.

It looks like maybe it was once a dirty car that's been detailed to where it is now.
People aren't buying **** right now. Thats what ultimately dictates the price of anything right?

May not be worth all of that 15 large. More like 14 or 13.5... The more I look it at more I think it's only worth like 13ish.

If it was a full on v160/big diff then I'd give em 15. But as it's sits not much more than 13.5.

But in any case...it's still going to be a really bad *** ride!

yep,

it says 40k on the JDM engine and tranny, but 63k original miles earlier in the description.

"WITH 2JZGTE TWINTURBO CONVERSION "
"UPGRADED REAR END SC400, 40K ON SWAPPED JDM ENGINE AND TRANNY"

(wtf is a upgraded rear end sc400?)

Regardless of what people say, its what you want and what will make you happy. I think its freaking nice and its just the right color. I have almost the same wheel and suspension setup. Whoever had spent the time and money on it to make it where it is now. You have two thumbs up from me. So where in Alabama are you? I'm close to Huntsville, but I am originally from Birmingham.

I honestly think that most people who state that this car is overpriced are simply dreamers hating. For those who actually own/owned a 2JZ-GTE sc300 will agree that this is more than a fair price for being a 97 and low mileage on the chassis. That's assuming the swap has been done right with no short cuts taken though.

Now it would've been a better bargain only if it had a USDM GTE swap , V160 swap(if that's what you want that is), and or if it was singled with all supporting mods. But then, if any of those were already done, price will be higher for sure.

Two things I've found, I agree with Aliga is that the engine bay has some SC400 parts and would've thought it is a SC400 with GTE swap as well. Such as radiator fan, coolant reservoir and possibly more as I haven't owned a SC400 but that's what I see. BUT I checked the carfax and it does pull up as a SC300, so that's a little weird..........
Another thing I noticed is that the front bumper has been repainted(center brace spats are painted over, they are unpainted/black originally) So I'd check for other paint work on the car and make sure all vin#'s are on the panels.

Just looking out for a brother who might join the 2JZ-GTE SC club Good luck and I hope all the iffyness about this car checks out you and pick up the car!

What makes a USDM swap better than JDM? SMOG/Emissions legality? or ?
Don't know all the in's and outs of the 2jz. I'm curious.

I agree for all the guys saying this is too much, try buying an sc and building it to this level.

Yea, I am a dealer - I am sure I could go buy an SC like this condition for $8,500-9,000. Then ad the $2000 for the Aristo swap. $500 exhaust, $500 in suspension, $1800 in wheels, plus $3000 in labor = $16,300-16,800. I think it should be $13,500-14,000, but I can't get him down below $15,000. If it is not as clean as it looks, I will not buy it. I just like the idea of getting one done to where all I have to do is swap in a V160, BL71 kit, and an AEM, but it will be a nice decently quick car until then.

It is definitely an SC300 too. It just has the JDM hydraulic clutch fan which is actually better than the USDM.
