Ive been told on more than one occasion that I over payed for my car but I have yet to hear an argument that makes me regret my decision
i like that. i was the same way. anyways, $7K is way too much for the mileage. just keep looking and don't jump the gun. just get a SC400 and do a 5pd swap. or better yet twin turbo it

i dont see the point in getting a 5 speed sc300? its slow and the tranny is **** if you try to make over 200rwkw. might as well get a 97+ vvti sc400 and put a r154/t-56/v16* in it.

It's 10,000 times more fun to drive stick. I'd give up 10-15% of horsepower easily to be able to row my own gears.

If the clutch is weak that's easy enough to upgrade, and relatively cheap.

It's all about the driving experience. Driving this car as an automatic robs you of the fun part of driving.

mate your preaching to the converted. i havent driven a manual in months! all our cars are auto, and i HATE IT, but what im saying is if you can afford to save up, buy a sc400 and put a manual in it. a manual 1uz + some good headers, exhaust and piggy back is all you need as a daily. would be a great little machine. throw in a LSD while your at it.

thats pretty expensive still. but i guess its a conversion, so people want more for it.
in australia we can get 92 TT soarers for around 5000AUD..which is like 4500USD. check this one out with factory LSD:

why do people always bring up the mileage? just b/c it has over 200k doesn't mean it's gonna blow up..even though mines wasn't that expensive, i did bought mines w/ 286k and now w/ 312k and still running strong. if you really want it then just get it if not then buy mines lol, it's your $$...
