Default Smelly during\after drive?

stock SC400.

I don't know what to search for this..

Ya know that 'rotten egg' smell? It's coming from my engine area. I can't tell what it is, where its coming from or anything. No smoke from anywhere either..

My brother said it smelled like sulfur, and I don't know what sulfur smells like to begin with. I got an oil change in January and I don't drive over 75.

I think my car emits it if i drive past 3000 or 4000 RPM once or twice, but I'm just guessing.

Any help here?

Sulfur smells like rotten eggs.

Clogged cat, most likely.

Yup. You need to replace the cats because something like that could make you not pass an emissions test.

try driving a while to let it heat up then turn off your car and go listen to it.

Just replace them with high flow cats from magnaflow or randomtech or something. They're ~100 a pop and they'll free up some power.

Well it sounds like the cats are broken. The aftermarket ones will be way cheaper than stock.

Just out of curiosity, what kind of battery are you running? The reason I ask is because every time my battery tie down brakes my battery slides on other to the power steering pulley and shreds a huge hole on it. The vapors travel into the cabin smelling like rotten eggs which is in fact sulfur.

if you don't want to change cats, just go to some muffler shop and have them hollow it out
