looking into purchasing a 1jz motor locally. it comes with the motor, r154 transmission, rebuilt turbos.... tranny ecu. missing motor ECU. now from what i can dig up the original owner bought this from an importer and hand picked it out of 4 motors. this would be the cleanest one out of all. now the downside is that this has been sitting around for a year and some months. would like to know what i need to do as far as a checklist for it. i could do a compression test but theres no oil in the motor. any other suggestions?
