Default what color for my woodgrain

while i'm waiting on my lextech cluster & climate, and airbag for my 3 spoke steering wheel, figured i would have my woodgrain painted since my car is being painted as well.

I have a full black original interior, trying to decide between having my wood done Renaissance red to match my car, or a gunmetal color similar to my wheels.. keep in mind i would have it done by the body shop, i'm not gonna rattle can renaissance red

i feel the red is a little flashy, but i thought it might really set it off, i figure alot of sports cars came with red accented interiors..

gunmetal is probably safer but im torn..

i do not want to do it in black.

lemme get some opinions, it's killing me having my car off the road!!!

dang so far i'm suprised people are feelin the woodgrain more, I like the woodgrain too but, i'm losing my chrome window trimming and all, my car has alot of carbon fiber stuff and Volks, 5spd, stiff hks suspension..
i guess i just figured i'd depart from the whole luxury look of the SC, but i do think the wood works awesome on most sc's

anyone wanna photoshop this for me? lol i don't have a interior shot of my car though, i need a black interior shot

Follow my DIY steps and paint it black or red... Get rid of the wood color all together! Just my thoughts.

well since you think your car is kindy sporty or racey i say go with some brushed aluminum or carbonfiber over the oem black and it looks like you do things right so check out patterntek.com they custom paint your trims to anything you want i am going this route with my trims theres a guys in the 2GS side that did and it came out badass

there's a thread here where the owner took pic's of his RSP sc with black interior I'm sure he has some good shots IMO red with a little gunmetal flake? or something along those lines it would flow nicely. on the other hand a local supra owner did something similar and he regret it said it looked tacky after a while but he didnt add flakes IMO go sporty you already have a handful of sporty upgrades think of something unique, I'm sure whatever you choose itll look good gl paco keep us updated as usual and i feel your pain on being without the sc mine was gone for 2 months when i was getting my vertex spoiler installed but when shes back you'll love her more than ever
