So I got my wheels installed today. Im running a 10mm spacer all around.
Tires are 245/40/18 in front and 255/40/18 in rear. Lots of meat on the tires. Might need to raise the car a couple mm because i suspect they will rub on bumps. The wheels fit perfectly flush with the fenders.
Yes, that's next up. Are there any that are a direct fit?
No they are not what you need to do is remove the nissan logo from the emblem and replace it with a lexus one......
There will be two tabs that hold the nissan logo on...then you will need to fill the holes with body filler and sand them smooth and paint them...then add the lexus logo
I finally located a front set (3x) of '98 Mustang Cobra 17x8 +30 wheels to go with my rear set (4x) of '95 Cobra R 17x9 +24's! Took me six months... The 17x9's were way too wide (stuck out from the fender nearly 1") for up front, but the 17x8's look quite good from a quick test fit and clear the LS400 calipers with plenty of room to spare.
The style is almost identical between the two versions. I can finally ditch the front wheels that came with the car as soon as I get some tires swapped over. One of the 17x8's has some cracks at the base of the tread and possibly a slow leak, so I probably shouldn't drive on it like that.
You have to see them in person to appreciate how perfect the fit is. You would never guess they weren't designed specifically for the SC, let alone different specs for different year Mustangs.
