snook, post a pic of you current interior so we can see how everything will flow with the items that are already black.

Please post a pic.

I know tan is ugly, 2 tone is the best I can do right now I cant afford the time or money it takes to switch out to all black, would rather buy a sc300 with black interior than go through that again

tan can be classy as long as it is maintained properly. u have had multiple cars with bos colors of interior and each presents its own challenges. i actually prefer tan as i clean my car weekly.

Im going to do some variation of black/tan
I dont see myself changing carpets, headliner dash all and dumping so much money into this car as its my daily driver only

I don't agree. My previous 3 cars (e39 bmw 540, e46 bmw 328, and 98 gs400) were all black on black. I got tired of all black and now I'm happy with tan that I have now.

agreed

in fact alot of the exoctics have been going this route .. black on black is nice but tends to look gloomy inside and you do see more dust and dirt on the carpet , black leather is a mission to keep the cracking in the seats from ruining a nicely done interior...

i was going to convert black /black but after seeing scotturnot's black/tan combo and seeing some ferr and lambo's with the black/tan i am sold

that will be next years project

to me this is perfection in every aspect

Thats basically how I remember the new Lexus interior, even Scotts seat backs are black like those cars

The only thing I know I wont do is take out my dash to paint it! Way too much work and hassle I cant get myself to do it
if I was doing a show car I would...Ill put my black dash mat up again instead if I want black

btw what did he do to his seats

Do you have more pics of his interior or a link to that thread?
