Default Prototype city light projector upgrade

Well, on the side of my build I am trying to work in a head light upgrade. Anyway, going with Clear Supermade lenses and of course I am upgrading to Xenon projectors. So what to do with that ugly little ***** looking city light.

Please excuse the ugly light with glue all over it, its just a junker for mock up. Anyway I wanted to see what you guys thought before these are done. Here is what I came up with. I hope they will compliment my new projectors.

First I had to cut down the factory Light holders.

Next I got some White LEDS

New modifided projector type lens

Finally some install pics

very nice, very creative, sell me a set. naww i dont feel like taking my lights apart again. but you did give me an idea with cutting down the light socket thing. i have some nice leds that wont fit because of the ***** tube and in my debate on takin it out when my lights were out i decided not to and my leds wont fit. but no i know i can shorten the socket light holder. thanks and is there any thing i should know before tackle'n my sockets so i wont destroy them? again nice

I'm not gonna vote because i'm undecided but I like the idea. IMO it would look better if you could taper it down similar to the opening for the headlight projector.

I already have the white LED's in my city lights. looks good w/ 6k HID's.

So you lost the ***** and put a chode in its place? nice work

What I really think would look good, is a row of LED's all the way across the bottom of the lens, like an Audi. The 1 city light is (imo) old fashioned.

Well I took a belt sander to it removed material, be careful, dont sand to deep and hit the wires. I took out a lot, I may do another set a little longer, these are almost to short. Then I took a dremel to the base so i could set it in there. Add some epoxy and bamm!

Remember the Xenon projector with the shroud will protrude some when its done.
