Default Pic Request: 92-96 w/ HID's & Fogs

Title pretty much says it all, I'd like to see some pics of your car with HID's and foglights (92-96). I'm unsure of what color to go with for my fogs

FYI the 95-96 bumper isnt the same as the 92-94 bumper.

For fog light color i would go with either ricer 3000k yellow or halogen 9006 bulbs. I think a color contrast between the headlights and the fog lights is nicer then having them all be one color.

well, I mean aren't fog lights supposed to be yellow to cut through the FOG?

i really dont think the 92-94 turn lights should be equipped with hid's just due to the fact that the light is not emitted towards the front of the vehicle and can cause a major distraction to other drivers at night..

if you want fogs, #1-get the correct year bumper (95+) that has actual fog lights if your going to use hid's, #2-and keep them the 3000k..looks much better.

Having yellow light over whitish light isnt going to make a noticeable difference.

Ironically using hids for fog lights is going to defeat the purpose much more then white light. Hids put out more light then halogen. But in fog this means much more glare. Think of driving in the fog with high beams on v low beams.

If anything putting hids in the 92+ bumper is much better then putting them into the 95 bumper. The 92 bumper will aim a lot of the light down toward the side of the road, which isnt in anyones face. The 95 will aim most of the light forword. When you realize putting hids into both lights will cause glare, having glare aimed mainly on the side of the road is going to be better then having glare aimed toward the front of the car. As for the 97, its different shape might be able to use a hid fog light with minimal glare.

My faux fogs with white leds and my lows at 5000k HIDs. Don't remember the bulb type in the cornering lights at the moment, but it's in the manual and you can just search for it.

my point is that the 92-95 TURNING lamps, are not intended for hid use, and therefore is not a good idea..its just as bad as having a crappy cut off line on low beams when using hid's...either way, your going to risk blinding someone while driving at night...do a 97+ conversion, THEN do hid fog light the proper way..

But neither are the 95 bumpers, both will have glare. Its just that the 92s will aim the light(and glare) more toward the side-ground unlike the 95s which will aim the light(and glare) more toward the front of the car. I mean your not going to blind someone who is driving parallel to you because their window is going to be above the glare. Even the 97 would still have glare but odds are it would handle the glare better because of its improved design.

If you actually want to do a hid fog light conversion the "proper" way then it doesnt even matter what bumper you have. You have to open the fog light and insert your own piece of metal to create a cut off light that will stop any extra light from the hids. Or insert extra a projector.
