I was wondering what you guys thought about this deal? I currently own 2 hondas (88 CRX/K20 and 91 civic hatch) i am selling both of these cars to buy me a SC, I had a IS300 (5spd) when i joind the site but that was totaled. Anyways i found a SC out here in vegas and was wondering what ya'll SC owners thought.

204K miles is nothing for Lexus, it will put more miles when you take care of it.

He says that his CRX is k20 swapped. That car alone is worth more then the SC he is looking at purchasing so it wouldn't make sense for him to trade both his rides for the SC.

Vegasmade, that SC your looking at looks very clean but with the mileage that he has on the car, an offer in the vicinity of 5k sounds fair. Good luck with the purchase

I disagree 97 5 speeds are really rare and the last year they made them manual, the white is awesome and body is in great shape. I'd run over there and get it as it won't last long...

At 204K I would make sure he has maintenance records. Make sure he hasn't ragged it out if you know what I mean......

way too much. i would get a broken one for like 500-1000 and drop a 2jzgte in it. so for the same price you would be tt. thats my 2 cents.

Yeah mileage is a lil up there...you could prob.talk him down another grand...sell that CRX first so you have more money to play with...or get that loan and grab that sucka NOW!!

a manual 97 sc 300 vvt-i ia a rare find but the mileage is a major concern. I would only buy it if he has good maint records. I would also take it to a Lexus Dealership and have them do a full check on it. The main conern is to chck for oil leaks and have a compression test done. If all checks out I would offer 5500.

since when did 97 sc300's come with vvti? anyways 6200 is a bit too much. with that high mileage. check out how the motors running and go from there.
