SC400 painted 98 Toyota Supra QUICKSILVER

Beautiful Choice on Colors, it really gives the car a more updated look.
I hate to disagree with you being that you are my idol in terms of Builders of SC's, but i would also add RSP as well as Quicksilver and black. A RSP supra makes me all giddy inside.

I've only seen one SC with a painted B pillar that pulled it off perfect, and that's the red Phenix Target SC.

I have no idea why this painter after 18 months of having my car decided to PAINT THE B PILLAR quicksilver instead of just leaving it black. I too am not fond of this. This car though is not mine and I need to remember that. My Dad is almost 66 years old and I haven't even told him that his Black car that he saw once over 13 months ago is now painted QUICKSILVER. I hope to hell he likes it. I even went so far as to roll all 4 fenders before we painted it. After seeing his 18X8.5 38 mm. MOMO's mounted on this car with the incorrect sized 245/45/18 Dunlop SP Sport 9000 tires. I decided that it does not look too bad. He will love the extra sidewall height. The wheels and tires do not rub at all, even with 3 grown men tipping the scales at a combined weight of almost half a ton. I spent sooooo much more money on this car than I ever planned to. Complete paint job, new timing belt, all new rotors, pads and Goodridge stainless steel lines, new 98 Supra font LCA's and front and rear sway bars, all new belts including timing, new trunk lid shocks, windshield wiper nozzell's off a late model Lexus, SC400 Specific RMR Rod Millen Racing exhaust, New emblems and antenna nut (changed over from old gold), front and rear end alignment, plus, fuel filter, PCV valve, PIAA Super white headlight and bright bulbs, flushed transmission, differential, radiator, power-steering, and brake reservoirs, filled with all Amsoil products, new radiator cap, new battery. Sorry for venting about all of my purchases. I can't believe how money I have dumped into this car for my DAD. I have his mint condition Jade Mica 92 SC400 sold for $7000.00 dollars. The buyer has just been waiting for this damn painter to finish his new SC400. He in theory is taking delivery of the car this coming Monday morning. He than is driving it back to Nashville. I hope this SC400 can survive it maiden voyage.

I've never seen another SC with color matched b-pillars except that red phenix target sc..
I don't think it will look as bad once the car is all together, i prefer black pillars, but i think alot of SC's could probably pull it off after seeing that red phenix one..
the quick silver sc, just doesn't look a good with it painted because the car isn't finished yet, let's see some pics once it's back together.

In theory I am picking the car up tonight after work. My parent's drove their Jade Mica 92 SC400 here to MI for me to sell. I already think I've sold it to a colleague of mine for $7000.00 This should definitely help offset all the money that I have dumped into this 98 SC400 that is going home with my Dad tomorrow afternoon. I hope this car is ready for a 10 hour drive after basically sitting since October 2007. I have driven it a few times since than and start it a couple times per month. I am so excited to finally have this financial nightmare of a repaint job over with it after 18.5 months.

His dad probably didn't like it
I like quicksilver and all but why take a black on black SC and change it to an entirely different color? black on black is the most desireable SC for lots of people. if someone took my black on black SC and painted it any other color than black again there would be a definite exchange of words that look like @%@#%!#(%^_*^_#^*@$(^*!~!
