So, I used to use my AC last year in the summer and have stopped since the end of that summer, AC hasn't been on more than a few times over those 6 months, now when I turn it on it only blows outside temperature air, the heater works, but doesnt blow alot of air, i filled it with a full can of r-134 and it wasnt cold at all even right after that. What can i check to find my problem?

Well, considering this probably isn't the right section, it's going to get moved, but I'll answer your question as best I can.
The chances of your system responding after a single can of R-134 is pretty minimal. My guess is the fact that you never run the system, so all the EPM o-rings dried out creating major system leaks. The circulating oil in the system refreshes the rubber on contact. Considering how long it's been, you might have even introduced air and non-condensable gases into the system. In which case, a vacuum would have to be drawn first to evacuate the system, add in a can of refrigerant with leak detector and then use a UV light to look for leaks. Hope this helps a bit.

When the ac used to run it made a light scratching noise, any way to check if the compressor is toast or not? I'll be taking my car in to a shop to get the AC checked out soon but i want to rule some problems out.

look at your compressor and see if the pully is spinning. if not replace compressor. look for your evaporator and condenser(they both look like little radiators) and wash them if there dirty, if air cant flow it cant absorb/dissipate heat. also look to see if you have any rocks/birds that flew in your condenser
