bought a 97 sc4, found out the spoiler brake light does not work. dealer wants 105 just for checking wats wrong, so i decide to open it and hopefully fix it myself. put it in stove to heat, but bent the lamp. cracked it open, took out the led. found a bad connection between bulbs, cut a piece wire and connect it, now all 30 leds lit up, haha.. now i just have to make a housing for the led to put back on the spoiler.. been working on it these days , finally got it done, used light wood to make the frame, then cover it with fiberglass resin, paint it, and used vht nightshade for the clear part. check it out, wat u think
LoL, i guess that pretty cool considering my spoiler brake light is a crossbreed off a Maxima's lololol. I cut the housing open, rippped out the led's, stole the strip from a spoiler we had laying around over here and siliconed it in. Since they are SMD Led's they are BRIGHT, and cost me nothing.
