Anyone using HID's from XENONDepot?

Mr xenon depot, what I don't understand is that you know this. So why if you know this dont you fix the toyota/lexus kits so people don't have to plug the plug in backwards. Granted most HID kits mention this in the install manual, but it would take someone on the assembly line 10seconds to just pin the plug the proper way so that it would work properly. IE plug snapping in securly versus being plugged in loosely. I got my kit from HIDNY.com, and had the same problem. I repinned the plug because I didn't like how loose it felt when connected.

As far as the cornering lights they only come on with your blinkers.
intellexual.net has a little section that tells you how to rewire them so that they come on with your marker lights or headlights depending on how you wanna rewire them. Check it out, besides that site is pretty cool anyway it has all kinds of cool things about the SC

The reason for all this polarity switching can not be attributed to out HID kits. In a normal incandescent bulb (your stock bulb), the polarity is of ABSOLUTELY ZERO consequence as the filament acts as nothing more than a resistor. Resistors are, as you well know, polarity-independent.
Unfortunately, an HID kit is NOT polarity-independent. However, because plugs such as H10/9005/9006 were originally designed for incandescent bulbs where polarity doesn't matter. This is why SOMETIMES (depending on the car) you have to reverse the wires and other times you don't. There is no standard for how the polarity must be wired into the connector.
If you use our wire harness (which utilizes a relay) you would not have to reverse any wires. This is because the relay is also polarity-independent. It then supplies the correct polarity to the HID kit because we standardize the wiring in our kits to match the wiring harness we provide.

I'm not here to argue, I'm just sayin the guy bought your kit and had to reverse the plug. You're tellin me now that if your wire harness is used then someone installing the kit won't have to reverse the plug. What wire harness comes with your kit? Somebody elses? I'm confused. I'm sure you have a great product and maybe I'll use it someday

Some of our customers prefer to use a relay harness that powers the ballast directly from the battery as opposed to the OEM headlight harness. Our HID kits are set up to work with this relay harness should customers decide to use it. The point I would like to make is that some vehicles have polarity in one orientation whereas others will be reversed. Not all cars have the same wire orientation.

the wiring kit works because even though the stock incandescent bulbs are not polar, the wiring kit hooks directly to the battery and is polar the way it needs to be.
They're not gonna swap polarity on the kit because then they'd have to stock 2 types of ballasts instead of one which raises their overhead. it's easier just to flip the plug. it's not like the kit doesn't work, just gotta think on it a little.
