I took the car to Walmart this morning because they have a fuel injection cleaning service for $20.00 that they hook up to one of the Vacuum lines and let the car idle for almost 30 minutes and than they add a pour in fuel tank additive. I had some BG products the same as most dealerships use so I had them add the BG to the Lexus and than their product to my wife's MDX. As far as the 3 paint jobs go look back at one of my threads from last year and you will see all of the chemical / paint problems that this guy had when painting my Dad's car. After the first ruined paint job, he took a 2 month siesta before making a second attempt at painting the car again. PPG recommended chemically stripping this car to bare metal to assure that the chemical reaction would not take place again. He did NOT listen and painted the entire car again---Same chemical reaction took place. Now he was irate with this car, when he should have been mad at himself for not stripping the car down. So now this car had four full black paint jobs on it. So finally in late March 2009 he started chemically stripping the entire car. He tried to talk me into just painting this car a third time using a SINGLE stage black. I was irate so in a heated moment I told him to paint the entire car QUICKSILVER so that I could verify that each and every portion of this car had been finished without him trying to pass off this car.My father left to drive this car back to Nashville, TN . I will not have this car in front of me for quite some time to take more pictures from all different angles of this car.

Thinking the same thing as I am looking to get my car painted anytime now. I'd like to know the different products used, to include clear and number of coats of clear. Also, what a job like cost you <nothig to be ashamed of......there is a cost for quality work, and such a result to me is worth it!>

I'm staying with the factory color, just want it pearl, though. Thanks!!
