Default 98 Quicksilver SC400 replaced this 92 Imperial Jade Mica SC400

As most of you guys have seen in my last few threads I finally finished my father's 98 Quicksilver SC400. I AM NOT TRYING TO SELL THIS CAR!!! I just wanted to show some clean pictures of an unmolested bone stock first year SC400. He has been the very proud second owner of this car for over the past 10 years. The reason I went through all of the hell getting the 98 repainted, was because when the car arrived, it definitely was one of those "Looks awesome from about 5 feet or so--Black on Black SC400's" I was now faced with a total re-paint before giving him the replacement for his beloved garage queen 92 SC400. I loved the look of a black on black 98 SC400, hell I own a 98 Black on Black Toyota Supra T.T. 6-speed. I always wanted one of the rare Quicksilver Supra's so I made my father's car the next best thing. This 92 SC400 has been one of the best cars that my 65 year old Dad has ever owned. I talked him into buying this car as a replacement for his 96 Taurus. This was my Dad's first experience with owning a foreign car. His car has remained bone stock over the years other than adding the 18 inch Momo's that are now mounted on his 98. He even has the original brochures leather case, keys and every single repair receipt for this car.

Here's a couple more pictures of his 98 SC400 with just over 97K miles on it. Most of you will notice that I borrowed the front chin spoiler from his beloved 92. Modifying and molding it to fit on this car was definitely worth it. But hey, I think I'm pretty biased after waiting 18.5 months for this car to finally be finished and returned to me.

Totally love it man, my sc still has the original leather casing that the manual came in along with a pen from the lexus dealer along with the original bill of sale, when the first owner bought it, it was worth $49,865.00 bought july of 92

As far as the exhaust goes, it is a RMR made by Rod Millen's son Rhys Millen who is some sort of awesome drifter. The other pictures show the Supra front and Rear LCS's as well as the rear Supra sway bar mounts necessary to install my sway bars from my 98 Supra shown below. The other car is my daily driver 2005 Acura TL A-SPEC 6spd with Navigation, full Comptech exhaust, Fujita Cold Air intake, and Comptech short shifter. This Comptech $42 short shifter is the best mod that I have ever put on a car. I even like it better than my ridiculously expensive C's short shifter for my Supra. I also increased the size of my tires on my OEM 18X8.5 A-SPEC wheels from a 235/40/18 to a 255/40/18. This car handles like it is on rails. Sometimes it is hard to believe that this is a front wheel drive car. Enjoy!!

No more pictures of his cars I promise. A few people asked for another thread on them with more pictures so I obliged. I feel like one of those proud parents that bores the death out of everyone talking about their damn kid. SORRY!!! I get the picture and it is not of another 98 QUICKSILVER SC400. HAHAHAH

I was gonna ask for some pics of the Supra but you came through before I needed to. All the cars look really nice. Did you post pics of the Supra LCA's because they went onto your dad's SC or because they're on the Supra?

I posted the pictures of the Supra LCA's and lower rear sway bar mounts because I took the sway bars off of my car because I went with the TRD big a$$ sway bar kit and than also installed the new Supra LCA's on my dad's car. I was really amazed at the difference in handling from stock suspension with 16X6.5 225/55/16 tires to the upgraded 245/45/18 Dunlop Sport 9000 tires mounted on the MOMO 18X8.5 38mm offset front and rear wheels. Not my first choice in wheels or tire size but the have a large sidewall and are perfect for my father.
