Seating Bracket Woes
Heya everyone. Lately Ive been aiming to get rid of my old Leather seats in my 2000 SC300, and was thinking using Sparco, Corbeau, or Bride seats. Now while most have easy clearance in my car, I don't have a single bracket that would fit them. Even the three companies don't have any that fit my car. I was even told by a guy at Sparco that some Supra ones may fit. But I don't want to be throwing my money away here. So, any help on what brackets work for my 2000 SC300 would be awesome.
Thanks!

Supra seats will fit, but you will lose the power options. Also S2000 seats will fit. This information was said on the intellexiual.net. This is where I got my info from. They also stated that you have to use some washers for the S2000 to fit correctly.

any seat bracket made for a 93+ supra will work... you just need to make sure those brackets fit the slider that the seat comes with.
and yes contact wedge engineering... they can get you seats brackets and sliders to fit any seat into your car...
if i remember right it was around 450 or so for the whole setup to bolt the seats in (2 seats).
i have sliders and brackets from wedge engineering for my sc to fit recaros. and just to let you know they sit VERY LOW

They are very easy to make at home.
I made mine. Take apart your current seats and remove the sliders (you will have to drill out the rivets). Install them back into the car, then rivet in an L bracket on both sliders, then rivet flat bar steel across the L brackets to ensure it will hold the correct distance.
Take this assembly to your local welder...then drill in holes to bolt in the seats, paint, install and enjoy!

Also ,I know I'll sound like a fool, but on the Sparco site, it goes from 93-98 for the Supra seats. They won't fit my 2000 SC300 will they?

What if you only need the bracket not the slider??? The supra seats I just bought did not come with the 4 mounting brackets, but the sliders are there. I am thinking of trying to remove the brackets from the sc300 seats to use on the supra ones, but the way the bracket is attached to the sc300 seat is weird its almost like riveted on. Any one come into this problem before?
