Wow. There really is nothing more JDM suspension than this. The only other set of Arogosta's I've seen in the US were on an F360. Seems like your SC will be suited for a Vertex Ridge kit and some Weds.
actually I'm already sporting the regular Vertex with the wider fenders on HRE's.

doing it big bro. TOP of the line pick up.
This is actually the final piece to finishing up the suspension. Ikeya Formula control arms are already in. I made a thread about it, you can search for it if you'd like to see the pics and review.

Definitely will be put through the ringer. I'm also gonna be looking for a set of track rims as I won't be tracking on the HRE's.

so you think the supra guys who dump in excess of 15k for just their engines have more money than sense as well
this car is geared towards track performance so me putting money into the car is for that purpose. with all this in, the suspension will be done and then as i improve, i'll start working on the engine.
Forgive me, but the old saying "more $$ than sense" comes to mind......as do thoughts of $4,000 rims on mid 80's Chevy Caprice's.....
its not necessarily "more money then sense" thing. yes they are expensive but the price of quality coilovers for racing is in the 10-15k range. look into ohlin, penske, and moton for examples.
prior to this i have only heard of aragosta once and it wasnt anything special. this weekend i asked my swedish boss that has been in racing for 40 years and he has not heard of them either. after mentioning the price he suggested getting ohlin for better performance and cheaper price.
hes basing his experience from real racing and not street cars though.
personally i wouldnt have gone with this setup either just because i have never heard anything of them, good or bad, and stuck with KW track setup.
LexAnt...you are the official CL test mule.
im sure they will be nice. you should compile all your modifications into a build thread. if you fly me out and pay for beer ill take the pics

Actually, If I had 30k to spend on a Supra or an SC, I would buy an SC and spend the 25k difference in price on things like his IKEYA arms, 2jz-GTE with Compound Turbos(750whp on pump, spool at 2500) and his sick Top Secret coilovers
Unfotunately, I don't have that kind of money to spare
would you rather have a 2000$ car with 10k budget in mods, or a 12k car stock?
I have no problem with spending money modding cars....I myself had $18k tied up in a s13 coupe....Maybe it was just price shock for me, but my brain's screaming at me "there must be a cheaper way to get the same performance" than to drop $8,200 on a set of dampeners/coilovers......My theory is that ubber-pricey JDM products like that are intended for ubber-wealthy Japanese businessmen who simply couldn't spend all their money if they tried, and are bored with women. lol
LexAnt did you get the hole Roberuta Cup Kit (front, rear, lines, tank, and remote)? Did you have to by it separate or all of it is included? Im thinking of putting them with my DG-5 instead of bags since i will be tracking/drifting my car.
