Do it the legit way and get it removed. I work at a tint shop located in rowland heights/626 area. PM me for contact info. I'll give you a reasonable/affordable price to re-tint it.

And ya, ofcourse i have to swap plates, i thought that was obvious lol. Theres no reason for the cop to check the VIN, if he does want to check the VIN, hes gonna need my registration to match up wit the VIN in which case ill say i dont have the registration with me if it came to that. But all the other times ive gotten sign-offs, they just kind of glance at it and just sign it off, no big deal. Thats speaking from a lot of experience

Ive had to go throught he same problem. Just get a tint person to write you off a sales ticket stating that they took off the tint. Go to court show them the sales ticket and dont drive the car there. Or if you can have someone send a pic of there RR SC with no tint that works too. Do you have any pics of your car without the tint? Thatd work too showing them that you took it off.

careful i did that with my integ... got away with it a few times... cop caught it the last time, about 3 months before i sold it.... laughed at me and said good effort.... signed it off....then changed to a straight face and told me dont pull that crap again....

Ive done this, It worked too, the cop asked to look at it and i told him the car was in the shop getting a new tranny (GM product LOL) he said ok and let me go.....
