Default Question : 92-96 v 97+ side molding

I removed that black strip below the scuff mark. Cut the molding on the side of the fender and rear quarter panel. Plus I removed the side molding on the fender and rear quarter. All this to fit the 97 rocket panel onto my 92 car. Its aligned perfect but when i look at it closely i can see a huge gap between the bottom of my door and the panel. It looks to me like the door molding should extend further downward. I just checked and it appears the the part #s are different as well.

Can someone with a 97+ oem car post a closed up pic to confirm this?

Yes the 97 + door moldings are bigger than the 92-96 molding. You can see the 97 + molding on most SC's with aftermarket body kits or just a 97 + SC.
