That's exactly what I had to do to my SC400 lip to get it to fit onto my stock 97 SC300 bumper.

BTW, the skirts are not school girl skirts, they're stock 97+ side skirts.

That's what I was going to do with a pre-97 lip but just couldn't find one and everone wants alot of money for them. Oh well....I think mine will turn out pretty good once painted.

 

i have that raceonusa kit on my car and it looks just like the vertex ridge kit an i love dont let some of these guys scare you from a knockoffs but that first kit was weird looking

Stock with a lip can look good, but not unless you're absolutely dumped... Kits are always the way to go.

 

did your kit fit on well? id like to get it instead of the vertex, rather not pay all out for a kit when i havent driven a extremely low car in ~5 years and i know ill prolly crack something...been playing with trucks since my business requires em ><

 

i have the full wald kit (front, rear, and sides) and i absolutly love it, and get lots of comments on it, if your still looking for a kit, id try to find the wald executive

Some of you guys kill me. If we post a new thread, we get hammered for not searching. If we post in an existing thread instead of starting a new one, we get hammered for thread resurrection. What is the magical expiration date on a thread before we are not allowed to add to it any more?

 

lol new guys like to see old threads too! resurrect all day as far as i am concerned. for me i say stock body kills it. the kits feel loud and scream rice. i will admit some guys on this forum know how to make them look just right and it can be sick. but its all about what you like. if a kit moves you then kit it. but i will stick with stock cant touch it.
