Default Thinking about buying an SC for parts tell me what you think

So this is what I have planned I have a 92 SC at the moment but thinking about buying a 99 SC for parts, now the donor car is at a local salvage auction it is totaled front end damage and rear as well I want the following parts:

engine-102,000 miles
transmission-5 speed auto
interior- almost perfect except for blown airbags
wheels-just a bonus seeing as how I already have some I would just turn around and sale them

So here is my question how much should I bid and do you think its worth the engine and tranny swap? I would post a link but im not sure if its allowed

Consider:

- The possibility of parts incompatibility between the two production runs. They are considerably different cars.

- Do you have the room to store a second car, for parts?

I have considered the part differences, but I was thinking if I strip both cars down I don't see it being as difficult but then again you never know, I do have plenty of room to store it

Although the motor swap is doable, it would be a royal PITA. Full rewire would be needed and the list goes on. Assuming it's a SC400 the VVTi with a 5 speed AT would be pretty sweet though. Someone on here is doing or recently did this swap and they had the whole car stripped to the bare pan if I recall. I bought a parts car last year and stripped it down pretty good as far as getting all the engine accys and random stuff from around the car that eventually breaks. Makes for cheap and readily available parts, then I sold what was left of the car.

pointless, if your engine/tranny breaks you are better off going gte/getrag.

Im not thinking about buying because my engine/transmission is bad im thinking 40 extra horsepower a 5 speed auto witch I think is ideal, the 4 speed auto in my car is its biggest weakness IMO and all the other extra stuff thats in the donor vehicle, gator shifter being one all the interior in the car looks like new, steering wheel yes it has the air bag blown but you can always buy that separate and some other extras in there, thats for your comment I appreciate everyones opinion, but my biggest thing is how much should i buy it for?
