92 SC400 AC Pressure Question
I have searched the archive, and so far no luck, so here goes.
I know if the Freon charge pressure is too low the compressor will not come on. I have believed I have a leak in my AC system, but this morning I tried to load a can of R12 with red dye so the AC shop could find the leak, and when I pressed the low pressure side relief valve there seemed to be a lot of pressure in the system. Will the system cut of if there is too much pressure? If so, does anyone know about how many inch/lbs I might be looking for? I have a test gauge for R134 if that works, but it is calibrated in inch/lbs.
