I just got it back last night...
All I can say is... I'm really happy!
I went with the medium stall and I think that was a good choice. I have zero traction off the line. In fact, I can now sit and just spin my wheels.
If I drive normally it's impossible to tell anything was even done to the car. If I punch it... The car takes off. Much different than with just the ecu upgrade. I reccomend having both, as I feel the impact of the ecu upgrade more during higher speeds.
Keith, I appreciate your comments and would agree 100% with your description of the torque converter. Thanks for the encouragement.

Currently I have a K&N intake, Weapon R ECU and a straight pipe where the center resonator used to be.
Hopefully the TC will make a big difference. Otherwise, I will buy another supra TT for my daily driver.

how much did you pay for your TC?
How do you like Weapon ECU?
How much of a difference did you notice when you put a straight pipe? Is the car louder? Did you keep your stock muffler?
thanks,

I purchased it from Swift Racing. I can't remember exactly what the cost was. I like the ecu more than the converter but I feel both are necessary. The straight pipe made a small difference and yes it is slightly louder. Really only at 2100 RPM. I'm not sure why but that is where I notice it the most. It sounds a lot more powerful in my opinion, more like a V8.

When you placed your straight pipe, this was the resonance packs near the rear axle?

Yes my mufflers are stock.
The straight pipe eliminates the center resonator which then flows to the two baby resonators, which tie into the mufflers. I still have the smaller resonators just because the noise level would be too loud without them. I am looking at other alternatives to them. I personally like the blitz exhaust but would need the corrosponding silencers for the additional noise they would make.
