I went with 4, 5 seems a little much for a 2-door car imo.

Ive always liked the way puddle lights looked on VIP style sedans. Since Im a huge VIP style enthusiast I was thinking about getting a set later on down the road after I pick up a set of 97 side skirts for my SC.

I love the way your 16k cluster LEDs look especially in the day time. Maybe I should look into something like that.

5 gets my vote. Never been too big on the puddle lights, but I think it would be cool to have them turn on when the doors open only. Anyways, good luck on the install.

I'd have to say no more than 5. 4 looks like a possibility, but I think 5 fits it right.

im confused, so you're copying another companies design, then asking people who dont know anything much about it for their opinion? kinda like a plastic surgeon asking the patient what type of procedure he should perform on them? care to elaborate?

Well you're right..... you are confused. I think people are capable of belting out the decision "5 or 6 puddle lights". ... believe it or not. As well, FYI lighting under cars goes back to street glow in the early 80's, I don't think we are treading hallowed ground.

uh good reference, using neon tubes, thanks i didnt know about that, i mean the last 16 years of my life tuning cars didnt mean anything.. i was just noting that you are copying another companies design and then trying to get people to sign on to a knock off. then on top of it asking them for their opinion.

WTF are you talking about??? Either make sense or get off the thread.

There are a million companies making underbody lights, I used AC as an example since people would know them here. I'm sticking lights under my car and asking for opinions on using 5 or 6 of them. YOU are doing nothing here but being an ***, so hit the road.

This is a killer mod, I'd say 5 at most since those LEDs seem to be uber bright. Do yourself a favor and save some time and money.

This is just as a reference for you O.L.T. and to others here on CL. By no means am I trying to thread jack at all. Here are some of the pics on when myself and a few other fellow CL members did the puddle lights. I have five on my SC and that is plenty but go with what you think works for you.

Oh and the pods are on an aluminum plate that runs underneath the car, one on each side and the wires are behind the aluminum so you can't see them if you looked under the car.

The five looks pretty good. So you are just using some prefab pods like on ebay?
