I loves me some SC and I loves me some IS. Had a few of each. Both good in their own ways, and both Lexus so no going wrong with either. Both sitting in my driveway right now and I'm gonna talk about both, I own them. IMO once you get a taste of owning the IS, the SC is no longer the "mod" car, it's the DD. So if you sold the IS to buy and mod the SC, I'd say it's backwards, but a lot of it really just depends on how much jack ya got to blow to achieve your goal. Younger kids don't have the money to tune and build VVTI and buy parts at the cost the IS commands (friggin outrageous over the SC parts premiums, easily double-triple parts cost per vehicle). The SC makes an awesome DD, but it's like drifting a lead pipe on an ice skating rink after driving the IS. Any old sled can drift the *** out from under it, if the control of the IS intimidates some then maybe they should practice more before moving up.

IS is fun, SC is fun... does it really matter?
I don't think there is any going forward or backward... it is what it is and he's happy with what he has.
He's pretty happy with the 5 speed and she gets up and MOVES... God I miss my old muffler setup now.

The mission swap went well!!! Unfortunately I didn't take pictures. The mission and diff feel great!!! I just need to swap the ECU out. It idles really high with the AC on but either than that it runs good. Suspension and fixing some of the steering issues are next... then it is time to do a shake down and burn up some tires...
