Chris,

Wish I could today. Have a golf tornament starting in about ten miutes. I'll PM you for your location. Our cars have similar mileage also. Mine at about 90,000 right now I think. I noticed you were doing a stereo upgrade too. I've been working on mine for a few months. Here's the build thread if interested: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/lex...rsion-2-a.html

I'd love to check out your suspension as you can tell by the pics my car needs to be lowered. I'll try and come see you soon.

Thanks,

Shane

looking good so far man. I would have probably gone the na-t route i just wanted a 5spd so bad so i ended up doing the 1jz soarer swap. I know how the set backs can get, i think I have been working on my swap for at least 5 months now, with the waiting for parts and stuff. I re-did my entire suspension first, then did the engine and tranny work, and now the only thing holding me back is that the big break upgrade wont fit around my 19s and I have to order some damn spacers!

Hope your build comes out nice, u can check mine out on my sig.

well got a majority of the electronics installed, just need to route a few wires and vacuum lines through the fire-wall, then that is done and out of the way..

as for a picture update, not gonna happen..hit a brick wall today when i went to mock the turbo assembly in place, so everything is at a dead stop right now with no sign of an update for atleast the next 2 weeks..

from what I have experience so far as broken tools go, i would say yes..all the successful crank bolt removal stories i have read used the Schley crank tool..its called a Schley 64300 Toyota/Lexus crank tool.

as for other things, got the situation with my manifold under control, and should be continuing with the project later in the week or this weekend. While i'm waiting for parts, I will be installing the avc-r and some vacuum lines and my new indash headunit..now need to order the clips for the injectors and do my 12v fuel pump mod and get things moving again.

I had thought about mounting them in the glove box, but i figured the wideband and boost gauge are vital information that i would rather have in clear view..that and my glove box is full of insurance papers and other junk
